A Little About Us

My journey in the wedding and event industry began in 2011 as a beginner wedding photographer. After moving to South Alabama in 2013, I took a short break before realizing that my passion went beyond simply capturing beautiful moments-I wanted to help create them.

In 2014, I began transitioning into wedding planning and coordination and eventually started my own business. Over the years, I had to opportunity to work alongside some of the best event professionals in the business, gaining experience and learning what truly goes on behind the scenes of a successful celebration.

After stepping away from the industry for a season, life brought me back to where my heart had always been. That season gave me time to reflect, grow, and ultimately reimagine what I wanted my business to become.

And that's how Cortes Event Co. was born.

We believe that your event should reflect your personality, your story, and the people you're celebrating with. My job isn't to create my perfect event-it's to listen to your ideas, help bring them together, offer insight when needed, and make sure the finished celebration feels authentically yours.

And while beautiful details are important, I believe the best events are the ones where the people being celebrated aren't too busy and overwhelmed about all the little details and can actually enjoy the party.
